Magnum Moving & Storage would like to make you aware of your responsibilities in regards to our storage policy and what you can expect from us.
Please read our policy as set forth in this brochure:
The Regular Billing Cycle• Your storage bill is generated on the 1st of each month. The bill is for the following month. For example, a April invoice is for May storage charges. This gives you a full month to remit payment. All payments are due in full on or before the first of every month.
• If your payment is received after the 1st, a $20.00 finance charge will be charged to the next month's bill. This $20.00 late fee will be charged EACH month till all past due amounts are paid in full.
• If you are a new storage customer, you will receive your first invoice via mail. This is the only invoice you will receive. This is our attempt to save costs that could potentially be passed on to you, our customers. You do however have the following options:
You may elect to be an auto pay customer. We will keep your credit card on file and charge it on the 15th OR at the end of each month, saving you envelopes, stamps, and checks AND the chance of a $20 late fee.
You may sign up to receive your monthly invoices via email.
MAKE SURE THE OFFICE IS AWARE IF YOU CHOOSE EITHER OF THE ABOVE CHOICES
Based on the current status of the economy, we realize that we are living in financially challenging times. We will take every opportunity to accommodate your situation as long as you communicate with us
Procedure for non-payment
• If you are late two months, you will receive an invoice in the mail with a note of "past due".
• If, after three months, you remain behind and you make no attempt to contact us regarding payment, you will be reported to our local collections agency, which will then attempt to collect outstanding monies due to us along with attaching your personal credit report as delinquent. You will also receive a certified letter giving you thirty days to come forth and pay your bill in full or we will have the right to advertise your goods for sale in a local newspaper. If after the thirty days has expired and we still have not received an actual payment from you, your goods will be advertised in a local newspaper under "legal notices". At that point Magnum Moving & Storage will own your goods and will auction for sale in a reasonable manner all your belongings on Magnum property in order to recoup monies lost due to non-payment.
ALL RETURNED CHECKS ARE SUBJECT TO A $15 RETURNED CHECK FEE.
